Daniel Burgoyne | Registered Psychotherapist

With the right support and tools, you can handle life's challenges...

Have you ever hit a point where life just feels too heavy?

We all face challenges—stress at work, changes we didn’t see coming, relationship struggles, or even loss. Sometimes those things push us to grow, but other times they leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure how to move forward. When that happens, it can show up as anxiety, depression, or even pulling away from the people we care about most.

I get it, because I’ve been there too. I’ve gone through my own seasons of anxiety and depression. What made the difference for me was realizing how much my thoughts and beliefs were shaping the way I felt day to day. By challenging the old patterns that kept me stuck and learning new ways to approach problems, I started to feel more in control again—not overnight, but step by step.

That’s why this work is meaningful to me. Therapy isn’t about being “broken” or weak—it’s about getting the right tools and perspective to handle life when it throws hard things your way. If you’ve been feeling weighed down or stuck, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

I support adolescents, adults, and mature adults 65+

I believe that the way we think shapes the way we feel — and that with the right tools and perspective, real change is possible. My approach is down-to-earth, collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that therapy isn't about being broken or weak. It's about getting honest with the patterns that are keeping you stuck, and building practical ways to handle life differently. I've navigated my own seasons of anxiety and depression, and that experience informs the empathy and respect I bring to every session.

Whether you're navigating loss, struggling in your relationships, or carrying more than you can manage alone, you'll find a space here that is warm, judgment-free, and genuinely focused on helping you move forward. I support adolescents, adults, and mature adults 65+.
