With the right support and tools, you can handle life's challenges...

Have you ever hit a point where life just feels too heavy?

We all face challenges—stress at work, changes we didn’t see coming, relationship struggles, or even loss. Sometimes those things push us to grow, but other times they leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure how to move forward. When that happens, it can show up as anxiety, depression, or even pulling away from the people we care about most.

I get it, because I’ve been there too. I’ve gone through my own seasons of anxiety and depression. What made the difference for me was realizing how much my thoughts and beliefs were shaping the way I felt day to day. By challenging the old patterns that kept me stuck and learning new ways to approach problems, I started to feel more in control again—not overnight, but step by step.

That’s why this work is meaningful to me. Therapy isn’t about being “broken” or weak—it’s about getting the right tools and perspective to handle life when it throws hard things your way. If you’ve been feeling weighed down or stuck, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

I support adolescents, adults, and mature adults 65+

My areas of specialization include:

Relationships

Grief and Loss

Anxiety and Depression

What Can You Expect if You Work With Me?

When you come into my office, you can expect a down-to-earth space where you’ll be met with respect, empathy, and no judgment. I know opening up isn’t easy, and I don’t expect you to have it all figured out—that’s what we’ll work on together. My role isn’t to tell you how to live your life, but to walk alongside you, help you sort through what’s weighing you down, and give you practical tools to handle it differently. In that kind of collaborative environment, real change can happen—you can face what’s been holding you back, get clearer on who you are, and start moving toward the life you want.

My office is located at 151 Essa Road, right at the intersection of Essa Rd. and Anne St. It is a clean and relaxed environment shared with other therapists like myself. As you enter, there is a waiting area where you can get some water or tea.

Individual sessions are $170 (no tax) for 50 minutes. To reach me directly, email  daniel@lindsaytsang.com
